Wal-Mart Dress Code

I work as a Pharmacy Tech at a local Wal-Mart Supercenter. Often I get bored of wearing the same tan/brown pant and navy blue top every workday. But I have found that there are some ways to "update" the dress code and add a little style.

At Wal-Mart you MUST wear either tan/khaki, or brown bottoms (capris, pants or skirt) and you MUST wear some type of navy blue top. HOWEVER, there are no style or color stipulation on what color you outerwear (cardigan or sweater) have to be. Also there are no limits on you color choice of accessories or shoes. Therefore I use these little loopholes to make my Wal-Mart uniform and little more stylish!

10 Pieces 30 Outfits

When Shopping on a Budget, the key is to buy KEY PIECES that you can mix and match throughout the weeks. Always find pieces that can be worn with heels or flats and outerwear pieces that can easily transition from day to night. These pieces can take you from a day in the office to a night on the town!!

Visual Merchandising Job! (Freelance Work)

This is a picture of a small boutique that I merchandised. I didn't have much to work with, but the little odds and ends the store owner had. This space also serves as a hair salon in the back area. I tried to keep everything balanced and remove all negative space. There isn't a lot of artwork on the walls, because the store owner wanted to hang them herself. But other than that everything else was done by me.

MoodBoards

I am a Fashion Merchandising Major. While obtaining my Bachlor's of Science at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va, I have done many different MoodBoards. Here are a few from oldest to newest.

As you can see my work is improving the more I do these things.
